work in Maine

while we were on vacation in Maine last week, I decided to host an event and scheduled some sessions. so, it was more like a working vacation but let me tell you these families that I had a chance to shoot were AWESOME! I have never met a cooler bunch of people. makes me what to live in Maine all over again! i miss it so much. and i miss my sister. who happens to live there too.

so take a look at these 'sneak peaks'! they are awesome if I do say so myself.

the two mothers in these families are sisters so it was a lot of fun to do both of their families!!!

Look for more session "sneak peaks" in my next post.

LOGOS

Is this your favorite?

Or is this your favorite?

I love them both, because they both represent something to me but I like to involve clients, friends and family in things like this!

watering the TREES

We just started landscaping our house (its been a year and a half since we moved in). We started with these little baby trees and Rowen gets a kick out of helping daddy water them! After a while I think daddy got bored watering the trees and he started to spray Rowen...although in some pictures she looked like she hated it...she really did get a kick out of daddy 'getting' her with the hose. She follows him around like a lost puppy most days. It makes my heart melt.

Enjoy the pictures. You will notice in some of them I have a new logo. Its not a for-sure thing yet I am going between two different logos which I will post later. You can help me decide with one will be a permanent fixture on my photos.

a trip to Disney (lots of pictures)

Yes, we went to Disney ( the way only crazy people do) with a 2 and half year old and a 1 year old. and we had a TON of fun! Rowen didn't so much care for the giant characters but never-the-less she had a great time. Maeve seemed to enjoy most everything about Disney. It was a wonderful vacation!

Updates....

In a couple of days she will be 11 months old.

WHERE has the time gone?

She is just about walking, but definitely a super-fast crawler,  so I run and run all day long-chasing her loveliness.

I took some pictures of the kids last weekend with grandma and grandpa....the kids went nuts, they loved it! uncle Nathan and aunt Amanda were there too. It was a blast. She is quite the dare-devil too....

Rowen loves getting her pictures taken. especially when everyone is making a big deal over her. And of course, everyone was...

She tends to be the center of attention lately. Sometimes it's her kindness, sometimes she has just run over her sister, and sometimes it's the kicking and screaming that is being done because thats what 2.5 year-olds do.

.....thats enough picture update for now. more blogging later. right now, my children are playing at grandma and grandpa's.  Greg and I are pretending to relax but there is so much to be done around the house. We are so close to being done with that bonus room its driving me nuts...

off to MAINE

And we are off.....

Headed to see a Doctor, a great doctor to help Maeve. We are also heading into a BIG storm.
Sometimes we do crazy things. This may be one of them. But we are so eager to have Maeve feeling more like herself that I think we are crazy enough to travel where they are getting over a foot of snow tomorrow.

For sure I will post pictures. My sister (who lives in Maine) says she had two feet of snow already. I cannot wait to see it all!!!!

New Years Day!

I just read in my most favorite blog, that it is always good to watermark your pictures so people don't try to steal them and so people can get a good look at WHO and WHAT you do. Plus, I don't want so-and-so from Kansas trying to steal my CLIENTS pictures either. They worked hard posing well for those shots!!!

These two girls are my most favorite and best clients ever!!!! (probably has something to do with birthing them)

I know, I know....I am a bit behind on my posts. Right now though, Maeve is keeping herself quite busy chasing a stink bug. With that kind of luck I have time to write or post lots of delicious photos of New Years Day.
